Regression of the Genius Extra

Chapter 20 -: 20, Beginner Dungeon

Chapter: 20, Beginner Dungeon

After a day of rest, Dain talked to Lilith and walked to an underground place under the training facility. Right in front of the stairs, there was a large heavy metal gate that sealed what was on the other side.

He showed a badge to the guards and entered the gate with an iron sword in his hand provided by them.

Inside the sealed gate was a vast cave that emitted a bit more mana compared to the outside. The cave was slightly darker but there were many light sources that lit up the place a bit. While walking in a certain direction, he saw many workers in working clothes doing their work.

Most of them were mining the different colored crystals that he recognized as mana crystals. But some of them were taking a brief rest after mining for a long time. He slowly walked for about thirty minutes; making it obvious how much mana crystal was present in this first layer of the dungeon.

At the end of the cave, there were two guards in heavy armour. He again showed them the token and smoothly entered the stairs to the next floor that was also blocked by a heavy metal gate.

Why was Dain here you ask? It’s because in this dungeon within the training facility, there is an item that he needs that was another source of his strength in the previous life.

He calmly walked ahead. The 2nd-4th level of this dungeon only had slimes as monsters, that didn’t really provide enough exp and were weaker than him. Their average stats were Strength 2, Agility 1 and Mana 1, with some of them like the bosses having a bit higher than that.

Dain didn’t waste his time here as what he needed was on the 10th floor of this dungeon. This whole beginner dungeon had only 20 floors in it. The rewards on the 20th floor were also very tempting but Dain didn’t want them since he couldn’t even use them even if he got them.
