Chapter 12 -: 12, Longing
Chapter: 12, Longing
In a silent Corridor, a cloaked figure was walking among the darkness of the night as stars shone in the sky and moonlight slightly illuminated the world. The fragmented bright light from inside fell on the carpet, reflecting the covered face of the woman.
The woman walked slowly, not worried about anyone misunderstanding her as a thief or something else.
After crossing by many turns and chamber rooms of different students, she halted in front of a certain door. It was Hestia’s quarters.
She reached her hands and with slow but precise movements of her hand, knocked three times on the door. The sound of subtle movements could be heard through the door. After a bit more movement, with a click of the door knob, the door opened slightly.
Hestia’s gloomy face looked through the door, her eyes landing on the girl. Hestia was now in a smooth and thin nightgown made from white silk. The cloth was so thin that her skin could be perceived if focused thoroughly, only if the person allowed it of course.
As Hestia looked at the cloaked figure, she wasn’t surprised. After all, she was the one who invited them. She signed the person to enter the room.
Azaria entered the room and closed the door behind her. Inside Hestia’s luxurious room, she saw another figure slumped on the bed. Hestia’s gray hair was haggard and dark circles were visible under her eyes as tear marks were also visible.
She then opened her cloak and looked at the other person in the room, who was sitting on the chair near the desk as her white hair flowed down shoulders. Her eyes were red, but her expression looked determined about something, as the flame burned through her reddened eyes.
