Chapter: 2, Hidden Feelings

A voice echoed through everyone’s ears as they stared at the familiar body falling on the ground, lifeless. Dain’s lifeless corpse touched the ground and quickly started to turn into sparks of glittering dusk, fading with the wind.
The three of the girl’s finally came out of their daze as they quickly rushed towards the fading figure, their eyes moist and on the verge of crying. They scrambled over to try and keep even a single dust to themselves, but to no avail. The lifeless body of Dain completely vanished into the air.
The three of them fell to their knees, tears clearly flowing from their eyes as their eyes turned bright red.
They never thought of being with anyone else. Even from the moment they met, they all loved him. Because of their feelings for him, the three of them never got along.
And after they came to this world, they forcefully buried that feeling deep inside, only to let out when either only one of the girls were alive or he chose one of them. They had waited for this confession of his for the long five years.
If they really loved him, why did they need to kill him?
Because the mission the three of them received was different from the boy’s.
