Chapter 58: The Dark Entity Arrives
Walking down my castle hallway, I was lost in thought. This was a dying realm because it was under siege from dark creatures of a dead realm.
While I only became familiar with these terms recently, I believed the only way to save this planet was to shut down the rift linked to the dead planet.
But what are these dark entities?
How can they be stopped?
There was too much I knew little of, and I needed to find out more—but first of all, I needed to survive.
I exited the castle, hoping to see the corpses of Colonel Adin and Lt. Katrina, but all I saw was shredded flesh with a bloodstain on the floor. They had been ripped apart completely by the blood thorns and the Boneward Guardians.
"I didn’t tell them to keep them intact." I facepalmed and let out a heavy sigh. "There goes my plan of making them a part of my blood thrall army.
Speaking about an army...
My gaze shifted to the far edge of the castle, where towering spires could be seen even though they didn’t belong to the castle. That was the once-collapsed barracks, now completely rebuilt. It was like a second tower but much wider and more spacious.
Looking at this reminded me of the orc army under the leadership of Gatekeeper Lee Bai. The thought of building my personal army of similar or higher quality brought an unnatural hunger.
Hunger for power!
