Chapter 50: And So It Begins..
The struggle was fierce, but the outcome was certain.
The building shook violently due to the constant attacks on the barrier, but the operation room was silent.
I stepped out from behind the rift where I hid from their guns and looked at the empty room with a sinister smile.
This room was the operation center which handled everything in regards to security. All the CCTVs scattered across the entire C.A.T.H were operated from here.
"The world will never know what happened." I grinned devilishly as I walked toward the control panel and began deleting the footage of everything that happened tonight—including the arrival of the Colonel, his Lieutenant, Viktor, and Natasha.
I even went further to deactivate all cameras and shut the system down.
"Since we never came here, it never happened." My grin widened to the point anyone looking at me would think I was crazy.
Without any reason to remain here, I walked into my rift and entered my territory.
