Ace Of Terrans

Chapter 1153 1153: R&D

The Asura Hall set into motion. Envoys were sent out and urgent summons were issued. The human realm was set into machine, and the process caused many of the lower realm people to just watch with anticipation. Whenever the Asura Hall made moves, they did something that changed the face of the human civilization.

The meeting was headed by Prince Beiming, not only because he was the eldest among the experts in the Asura Hall, but because he was visualized by the people as a righteous person, they all respected him and also held a great deal of fear as well, because the people knew that none of the people in the Asura Hall were simple, even the low level hall members who acted in dark to gather information, everyone of these people were armed to the teeth and they would not mind killing people for breaking the rules of the human race.

The agenda of the meeting was simple, the people were informed about the actions that the realm lord was set to take against them. Initially everyone was scared, because as the saints who participated in the ranking tournament, they knew, that the Realm Lord was a cruel bitch. One of the people asked, "Lord Beiming, what does Hall Master want us to do?"

Prince Beiming had regained some of his youthful look as he had stepped up in the realm of cultivation, but his gaze was still very dignified and as he looked at the person who raised the question earlier, and said, "Just to cooperate with all of us, keep this news on the low and tight. However, at the same time, promote the people to get stronger on a collective front."

The people nodded about the instruction, and then Prince Beiming said, "If it is something that you all need to say, then don't hesitate."

One person raised his hand and asked, "Lord, can we arrange for the competitions and the training regimes? Can you send over some people to train the disciples?"

Beiming nodded and said, "This suggestion is good, I will pass it on to the elders and you will receive an answer soon."

The people nodded and then the meeting continued. After a few hours, the people departed with their commands. None of them felt they were lowly in status, they knew that the bigger the fist the bigger the voice, and in the human realm, none was taller than the Asura Hall. None of the people harbored the ambition of quick growth, many in the past have tried to do things that get them to gain quickly but the consequences of it were simple, deceit was a drug that corrupted the entire system.

Shi Lang was against it and so were the rest of the people after touching the realm of the saint they had realized that the gap was not caused by who gained more resources, but who saw the purest form of Dao. Thus the elders had straightened out the situation for the lower level disciples and that had caused the promotion of strength to reach an steamrolling pace.

...

While the human realm was in motion, Shi Lang had sent a message to Nishan about the discussion regarding the Artifact refining. Everything was written on jade slip and then handed over to a messenger. Shi Lang was even willing to swear a blood oath in order to prove that whatever he had written in this jade slip it was the truth.

Nishan received the message and then he rushed to meet the man responsible for the inter racial communication. Kallar, when the old man read the content of the jade slip he said, "To think that this Human race Saint had reached such high realm of forging is shocking. I didn't judge him wrong the other day, Nishan, inform him that I will hold another gathering but this time it would be done with lower realm cultivators, after all sealing the consciousness is not a long term solution for this."

The young scion nodded and left the place.

...

Shi Lang was sitting in the refining room with his gazes looking at the void lost in his own thoughts. The man didn't give anyone trouble, but just thought about what could be done to avoid the detection and the probes of the envoy who were watching the border. This situation didn't seem very auspicious for their mission and with Nishan stating that sealing the consciousness was not a long term solution, Shi Lang realized that if they needed to handle these things efficiently, they would need to create some tools to help them get past the first obstacle.

After some time, he stood up and began to walk around, he pondered over the questions, "Why could the realm lord detect them? How could he just tell who they were from a single wave of consciousness."

This question caused him to kill some brain cells when his eyes began to glow. He realized what was going on. The young man took a deep breath before he picked up some metal that was used to create artifacts that prevented the detection by divine sense and created a ring with it. This ring was big enough to fit around the head of a human being.

After confirming that the measurement was done, Shi Lang began to cast some runes on it. The runes that he carved, were not related to his area of expertise, it was just a chain of runes that prohibited the divine sense from leaking out. The consciousness of a person was not anything else but the divine sense that kept them awake, and this divine sense, even when controlled created some fluctuations in the void.

Shi Lang wanted to try and see if his headgear could break down these fluctuation waves. He took the headgear and walked out of the refining room, then he found Hao Mei who was busily tending to the spirit field and he said, "Xiao Mei, come here for a second."

Hao Mei raised her head and walked over to him as she asked, "Baba, what happened?"

She was curious and Shi Lang said, "I needed your help to check something."

He placed the head gear on her forehead, and although the metal was simply shaped like a headgear it added even more charm to Hao Mei's ethereal beauty. The young man said, "Go and try to sense the herbs in the surroundings with your divine sense and tell me if you can still do it."

Hao Mei nodded and then turned around to close her eyes and began to try and probe the spirit field. Shi Lang held a small stone in his hand, this was a primitive and the most accurate method of detecting if someone had a strong divine sense. The stone should have started glowing just because Hao Mei was using her divine sense. Hao Mei was an alchemist and her divine sense had grown stronger to a level where normal people could not even pass the threshold. However, at this moment the usually agitated or cracked Divine Sense Stone, was laying in Shi Lang's palm as if it was a dud.

After a few minutes, Hao Mei turned back to face Shi Lang and said, "Baba, what is this thing? Although I can sense the herbs it is taking a long time for me to pinpoint the herbs and also another thing is that everything is a blur too scattered."

The Terran nodded and replied, "Yes, but it is successful. The motive was to scatter the fluctuations created by the divine sense even when we are not using it. So, if it can manage to not trigger the divine sense stone, then it would be even better if we don't consciously use the divine sense stone."

Hao Mei took off the head gear and then she asked, "Did you make this for the border crossing?"

The young man nodded and replied, "Yes, this is designed for that purpose only so let's see how things would go. We still need to do many tests to confirm the functionality. Another thing that I would need to invent is something that could allow us to converse through the various racial plains. Unless someone kind steps up or they have already invented something like this already."

Hao Mei smiled and said, "Baba, as much as I care and love you, the fact is, in this world there are many people who might be like you who have refined artifacts that could do these things."

The young man chuckled and said, "Indeed, I am taking too much load for these things that are easy to adjust."

Hao Mei smiled at this and said, "Yes, but have you thought how are you going to test this?"

Shi Lang nodded and replied, "Time to delegate this task to the friends in the jewel eyed race. They all have higher divine sense so it would be easy for them to handle things."

Hao Mei nodded and said, "I will arrange for the envoys to handle this."
