Chapter 1860 - 1856 Perception
Nie Caizhu displayed a faint smile, raised the black jade token in her hand, and examined it carefully in front of her eyes. It was not the perfect repair of a broken item but truly returned to its pre-broken state, without the slightest anomaly.
That black jade token had never been shattered.
"It really works, that’s great," Nie Caizhu spoke with delight to herself.
Afterward, she stood up and picked up an ordinary teacup from the bamboo table, slightly bent her five fingers, and the teacup shattered with a response, scattering shards of porcelain debris, spraying in all directions.
But this time, Nie Caizhu did not immediately release her power to control the shattering teacup; instead, she waited for dozens of breaths before she began to release her bloodline power. A burst of white light emitted from her body, enveloping a surrounding area of about ten feet.
"Time Retrospection." She gently rubbed her fingers in the void and murmured.
The white light surrounding her immediately gathered back, causing the floating dust beside her to rise as well, while the shattered teacup on the table began to fly back up as if in reverse. All the shattered debris also gathered and flew back, eventually reforming.
Just as the teacup was about to return to its original state, the white light gathered around suddenly dispersed without any warning, and the teacup shattered again, falling onto the table.
Nie Caizhu furrowed her brow slightly, checked the porcelain fragments on the table carefully, and soon found that the fragments on the table hadn’t completely restored but hadn’t recovered completely.
"Why is this?" Nie Caizhu’s heart filled with doubt.
She picked up another teacup from the table and began her experiment again.
