Chapter 585: Grand Opening Preparations
Giggling, they entered and observed the shop as the disciple closed the door behind them.
A subtle layer of dust blanketed glass displays and numerous shelves lined against the walls, making him understand that the last tenant left weeks, if not months, ago. Well, it was understandable since wealthy disciples would value the inner sect to show off their statues, while the outer disciples lacked the funds to rent this large store.
He nodded at the five naked exposition dummies standing behind the wooden storefront protecting the windows, then at the barbed furniture designed to showcase blades.
Despite the dusty scent, his eyes sparkled to the stairs and the balcony-like second floor.
Misha leaned over his ear and whispered, "We won’t lack space to expose your products." She pointed to a dimly lit room, the flickering fire inside casting soft shadows behind the carved counter. "You’ll even have a place to craft in peace. How do you like it?"
He smirked and raised his thumb. "I love it, of course."
He turned to the disciple, convinced by the shop, and waved his jade card. "I’ll pay for this week’s rent. What else do you need to seal the deal?"
The disciple blinked at Adam’s decisive decision before a broad grin blossomed on his face, and his spatial ring flashed.
"Just your signature to let the owner know who rents his place."
