Chapter 1097: Do Something (1)
Yang Ruxin’s words left Erni in deep silence, and Yang Ruxin did not speak further, as some things needed to be figured out on one’s own.
After a long while, Erni raised her head, "Big sister, I understand now. Brother-in-law is no ordinary man, and Gu Yao is destined for greatness too, right? He is meant to help brother-in-law with important matters, isn’t he?"
"Pretty much," Yang Ruxin nodded. "So, I can’t say they’re not in danger..."
Erni nodded, "I know, I was just asking. But I believe he and brother-in-law will be alright..."
"Yes." Yang Ruxin nodded. "Together, we will form a strong support for them..."
Then Erni smiled.
"Since we can’t sleep anyway, why not do something?" Yang Ruxin felt that if she didn’t occupy herself, her thoughts would run wild, and so she got out of bed.
"Big sister, what shall we do?" Erni followed suit and got out of bed as well.
"Don’t you like needlework? I’ll design some things, and then you organize some of the young ladies and wives to make them. We might be able to make some money..." Yang Ruxin started drawing designs with her homemade quill pen as soon as she reached the desk.
Erni stood by and watched, "Big sister, what is this? It’s so cute..."
"This is a dolphin, an animal from the sea; this one is a mouse..." Yang Ruxin sketched quickly. "These can be cut out into shapes, sewn together, then stuffed with cotton and stitched up. You can hug or lean on them. Isn’t it interesting?"
