She hurriedly sat up with a jolt, touching her chest and back to confirm they had not been tampered with, and then finally let out a sigh of relief.
"You’re awake?" At that moment, Xiaoyun walked in. "Are you hungry? Have something to eat."

"You continue to rest," Xiaoyun said with a smile, picking up the empty bowl to leave. "I’ll bring you medicine later."

As she spoke, she attempted to get off the kang, but the multitude of wounds on her body caused her so much pain that sweat poured down like rain.
