"Let’s give it a try," Yang Ruxin nodded slightly.
"This way, miss," the shop assistant hurried them into an adjoining room upon hearing this, not daring to neglect them, "Please sit." Then he went to another room and soon came out with a sheet of paper, "Please have a look, miss."

For π, she simply replaced it with an approximately equal sign and wrote 3.14. Regarding the periodic table, the other party wrote hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, and boron, so she responded with carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, and neon. Truth be told, having left school so many years ago, she had almost forgotten all that chemistry knowledge; she only remembered the first four terms. If the person she was corresponding with had written something else, she might not have been able to answer correctly. After writing, she handed it to the shop assistant: "Show this to your boss."
Her guess wasn’t wrong; this really was a fellow time traveler.
