She sighed gently, "You’re still young, carrying the heavy burden of the Daxuan Dynasty’s prosperity. If you’re critically ill, how could your mother go on living?" After shaking her head, she turned and walked toward her family home.
Guan Qingshu was momentarily stunned and didn’t quite catch on, but his body reacted faster than his mind. He reached out to grab Yang Ruxin, "What do you mean by that? Ah..." But just as his hand touched her, he suddenly felt the world spin and found himself inexplicably thrown to the ground with a thud, the impact not light. He couldn’t help but let out a cry of pain.
