Chapter 149: Moving_1
Actually, calling it moving was an overstatement as the house was virtually empty; but even if the bedding had become as hard as a stone slab, it couldn’t be discarded. Having something was better than nothing.
Of course, even if something really needed to be thrown away, Sanni would not agree. The young girl guarded the household possessions as if she were a stingy penny-pincher and insisted with conviction that "A broken house is worth a thousand pieces of gold."
Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but laugh and cry at this, so she stopped trying to interfere. Whatever Sanni wanted to take, they took; they could always replace it with something new later.
As expected, apart from Yang Baixiang, not a single person came over to help, and even Yang Baihe stood in the middle of the courtyard, watching carefully, as if afraid they might take something extra.
Yang Baixiang had been released only after being detained for two days.
The others who came to help included Gu Yao, Little Liuzi, and Tie Dan.
"Big sister, let’s live a good life from now on and make them green with envy," Sanni said fiercely, glancing at the main house. "By then, let them have regrets..."
"Girl, remember this: life is for us to live, not for others to watch. We don’t need to care about what others think," Yang Ruxin said, touching Sanni’s small face. "However, making them regret, that we can do!"
"Giggle..." Sanni laughed happily.
Although Xun Hui was unconscious, moving wasn’t difficult with so many people helping. They found a door plank to use as a stretcher and carried her directly to the back of the village.
But before officially leaving the Yang Family home, Yang Ruxin had one more thing to do.
