Chapter 123: I Dare to Kill Him_1
It was not easy to reach the grand entrance of the Yang Family, and Yang Ruxin could clearly see the old man Yang heaving a long sigh of relief. She couldn’t help but sneer at this display of kinship—if she didn’t sever ties completely, she would feel she was doing a disservice to this trip through time.
Indeed, upon entering the Yang Family’s courtyard, not a single person came out to take a look or even offer a greeting. Even the old man Yang hopped off the mule cart and went straight into the courtyard, hands behind his back, without the slightest intention of helping Yang Baixiang with a hand.

Yang Peili’s steps faltered, his face turning extremely ugly, but he still managed to turn around and pay Uncle Lao Kuang ten copper coins, then he entered the house without looking back.
Uncle Lao Kuang couldn’t stand by and watch; he helped Yang Baixiang and Yang Dani carry Xun Hui into the house. He then sighed, "Girl, if you ever need help with anything, just call out for Uncle, alright?"
"Thank you, Uncle Lao Kuang," Yang Ruxin said with gratitude, nodding her head.
Uncle Lao Kuang shook his head and left.
Yang Ruxin was not disappointed by the behavior of the Yang Family. She had not held out hope for them in the first place. However, she noted all this; she would settle accounts with them later.
Yet, Yang Baixiang felt a suffocating feeling in his heart.
"Uncle, thank you," Yang Ruxin thanked him, ignoring the gloominess of Yang Baixiang’s mood, with a smile.
"Call me if you need anything," Yang Baixiang exhaled deeply and then headed back to his room, but as he reached the middle of the courtyard, he stopped, turned around, and walked to the door of the second room, "Second Brother, Second Sister-in-law..."
