A laugh escaped my lips when Lupe asked me if I thought something was fishy between Cullen and Kylo.
"Oh, Cullen," I said. "He’s been hitting on Kylo for ages. Don’t worry, it’s just his way of being playful. He doesn’t mean anything by it."
Lupe seemed thoughtful for a while. "I know but there’s just something about the look on Kylo’s face when Cullen said those things. It was like the look of someone being caught doing a bad thing..."
Just then, the bathroom door swung open and Liam emerged with a towel wrapped around his damp hair, his eyes wide with innocence, interrupting Lupe.
"Mommy," he began, his voice small, "what’s sex?"
