Taking the form of a young boy made him feel awfully strange. It was the first time he’d stolen a boy’s flesh. He hadn’t done it before because he didn’t have a reason to. Now that he did, it seemed he’d do it more.
He followed Isleen and Kylo from a distance that day. He saw the route that followed and just when he was sure that they’d be back in the same direction, he struck his plan.
He created that scene with those bloody elves and put up an innocent front when Isleen intervened. He had studied her, knew she had a big heart, and was sure that she’d take him in or at least, keep him close.
And she did.
She took him right home. Not just that - she adopted him too.
The fool!
She ignored all the hints that something was odd with ’Liam’. Fergus found it hard to act on Liam’s character. Hell, he hated Isleen’s dumb roommate.
That idiot irked him to the core with his stupidity. Every time Kylo came around, he always made sure to relate with him, to get to study him at a close range and figure out who he was.
