Chapter 19: _ Fergus
The next day, he heard the news about a pack of bones that was found in the woods. The wolves thought it was the doing of one of them. None of them – in their wildest dreams would ever guess that a vampire was in their midst.
Not to mention a group of vampires.
Since he didn't know who the girl whose form he had taken was, he hid still, avoiding contact with the members of the pack. He only needed her flesh to enable him to walk in the sun.
Every day, he would trail Isleen Garcia from a long distance. Since he was a vampire, he could see things from a distance too. He watched her go to the school where she worked as a teacher and studied her students.
Finally, he was able to discover a perfect pawn. There was a little boy named Liam among her students. He had just his brother as his family. Such a kid was just the one he was searching for.
And thus, he shed the wolf girl's skin that he had stolen and shifted back into his own flesh and form. He returned to their hideout in the Ravenwood pack. There were twenty of them in the pack.
"Fergus, you always return looking hilarious every time." Churel, the vampire whom he was mated to and his sex partner came over to meet him the moment he stepped into the cave. "What is this you are wearing now?!" She motioned at the feminine cloth on him which had almost torn at every side because of his size.
He had thrown his clothes away after shapeshifting into the wolf girl's form. He didn't have the time to go steal some clothes like he usually did as this was the only chance they had.
Both Isleen and Liam's brother were at the same spot. This would heighten her pity for the little boy later.
