The man looked at Ren Xiya in disbelief.
"You... you know my purpose?"
"Calling me Miss Ren right away, even an idiot knows you came prepared, right?"
Ren Xiya took out a lighter and lit a slender cigarette at her lips.
She took a puff, blowing smoke rings towards the man.
The man paused: "You’re not drunk?"
Ren Xiya continued smoking: "The person who sent you really doesn’t know me at all. I’ve reached this position, and you think I would be drunk after a couple of drinks?"
The man’s face tightened, pulling out a knife from under the pillow, glaring fiercely at Ren Xiya.
"So what, you think you can walk out of this hotel? I’ve prepared a bath for you in the bathroom, and the hairdryer is plugged in."
"Very thoughtful, but... you don’t get to decide," Ren Xiya said softly.
Upon hearing this, the man sneered.
"Since Miss Ren doesn’t want to die painless, I can only offer you another method of dying."
