Chapter 323 Love at first sight?
Vincent didn’t care about Damon’s mood as he gently took Kyra into the bedroom. She suddenly started feeling sleepy, and he knew he needed to make up for the time lost during his hibernation. He didn’t want to waste a single moment with her.
Meanwhile, Oceanus leaned against the kitchen door, watching Lucas try to engage Damon in conversation.
"You know, Damon, you don’t need to be that sour," oceanus said.
Damon’s jaw clenched as he turned to face Oceanus. "How do you know what it feels like when your mate accepts another male? You know nothing, Ocean."
"Hmm... yeah, I know nothing," Oceanus replied calmly. "But at least you should think maturely. Lucas already accepted he was her first mate. He’s seen her accept Vincent too. Look, Vincent is an overly possessive snake male, but still, he didn’t take long to accept that his female’s safety is his priority. You should do the same. Or do you want to lose her again and again?"
Oceanus took a step closer, his voice steady. "Let me tell you, Damon, I know you’re feeling these emotions because you care for her and love her. But don’t be selfish and think you can have her all to yourself. Kyra loves you too, as well as Lucas and Vincent. She has different feelings for each of you, and you are her strength."
Damon’s eyes narrowed, his frustration palpable as he listened to Oceanus. He was caught in a storm of emotions—jealousy, anger, and a deep-seated fear of losing Kyra. "You think it’s easy for me? Watching her accept you, watching her laugh with him?" He gestured angrily toward the living room where Vincent had taken Kyra to room. "Do you think I wanted this? Do you think I wanted to feel like this?"
Oceanus sighed, unfazed by Damon’s outburst. "I understand your pain, but lashing out won’t change anything. You have to realize that little star is strong enough to handle her feelings. She chose you for a reason. Because she likes you"
Lucas nodded in agreement, stepping closer to Damon. "Look, we’ve all had to adjust. It’s not just you. Ky-ky feelings for each of us are different, but they’re real. It’s not about losing her; it’s about letting her grow with us. We all want what’s best for her, don’t we?"
