My mates in Beastworld

Chapter 298 World key power

Lucas howled, his howl cutting through the night air as he sprinted forward, Damon on his back. His paws moved swiftly, the ground blurring beneath him. He was following the pull of the crystal, leading him straight toward Kyra.

Above them, Simon was flying in his eagle form, keeping pace with Lucas. His large wings flapped smoothly in the moonlight, and his sharp eyes scanned the surroundings. On his back, Oceanus was lazily resting, his silver-gray hair glowing under the soft light. His face was peaceful, as if he didn’t have a care in the world, even in the middle of all the chaos.

Simon glanced back at Oceanus, shaking his head. Even when things got serious, Oceanus acted like nothing was happening. Simon never really understood him. Oceanus helped people, but only when he had something to gain from it. He was ruthless, too, with a heart as cold as stone. Still, for now, he had decided to help them.

Simon soared silently through the sky, matching Lucas’s speed below. They were getting closer, the tension in the air growing thicker. Lucas was focused, determined to find Kyra.

As they reached the high wall, Lucas slowed down, taking in the open gate and the terrible smell of rot and blood that hit them hard. Growls and the clash of weapons echoed from inside, making the air feel thick with tension.

Without wasting a second, Lucas charged through the gate, Simon flying overhead in his eagle form. Inside, chaos surrounded them. A dead body lay at the entrance, but Lucas barely noticed, his focus only on one thing.

"LITTLE THING!" Damon’s shout echoed as his eyes landed on Kyra.

She stood in the middle of the fight, her face streaked with blood, her long hair flying in the wind. She looked fierce and dangerous, holding a crackling rope of blue thunder with green light sparking through it. Her face was cold, emotionless, and filled with a sharpness that made her look like a devil straight from the depths of hell.

With a swift movement, she swung the rope, and the monsters around her fell, lifeless. She didn’t flinch or show any fear.
