"Where is my silly wolf?" she asked, looking around. She missed her wolf, his comforting arms, and his silly talks and antics.
Vincent held her hand gently and kissed the back of it. "He is safe. He will come here soon," he reassured her. "I’ll call the healer to get you treated."
Healer Angelo had just finished checking Damon and Meeko when Vincent called him back upstairs. With a nod, Angelo grabbed his tools and followed Vincent, ready to continue his work on Kyra.
