Chapter 150 Escaping
Kyra’s heart pounded as she stood before the dangerous man with piercing silver eyes and an air of authority that made her shiver. His laughter echoed in the cavern, sending a chill down her spine.
The man’s smirk widened as he regarded her with amusement. "Oh, little one," he chuckled darkly, "you’ll find out soon enough."
Kyra’s stomach churned with unease, but before she could protest or flee, he raised a hand in a commanding gesture.
After a moment, he straightened up and looked down at her with that same cold smile. "Do not try to escape," he ordered. "I will be back shortly."
With that, he turned and strode away, his blue hair flowing behind him like a dark river. Kyra watched him disappear into the shadows of the cave, her mind racing with uncertainty and fear. She was alone now, surrounded by the eerie silence of the cavern and the distant murmur of the hot spring.
As he turned and walked away, Kyra’s sensitive ears heard his footsteps fading. She looked around the cave, noting the thick nest made of grass and the absence of anything else. The urge to escape was strong, but she knew she had to be cautious.
She quickly walked out of the dragon’s cave, her eyes scanning the area. She didn’t remember which way she had come, so she randomly started walking, desperate to leave.
Kyra’s heart raced as she fled from the dragon’s cave. Every step echoed loudly in her ears, amplifying her fear of being caught.
She didn’t dare to look back, afraid that the massive beast might come back and pursue her.
