Chapter 139 Vincent suprise(1)
Kyra gathered five of her friends at her home, serving them snacks and juices. The room was filled with the aroma of freshly prepared snacks and the tang of citrus.
"So, Zoe, have you thought about what you’re going to wear for the celebration?" Kyra asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Zoe looked up from her drink and shook her head. "I don’t know what to wear. Should I go with white or something pink?" she pondered aloud.
"I don’t have many clothes right now." another female said.
"My new mate only brought me six sets of regular wear."
Kyra’s eyes lit up with an idea. "How about we all wear the same dress that day?" she suggested. The group buzzed with excitement at the thought.
"That sounds fun, but where should we buy similar clothes?" the third female asked, her brow furrowing in thought.
"I think we should wear black gowns. They look so elegant," Kyra proposed. However, the suggestion was met with disapproving looks.
"No, no! Black is such an ugly color," Zoe protested, shaking her head. "Who even makes black clothes? I think it would be better if we all wore peach or yellow."
"Yeah, yeah." another female agreed, and Kyra fell silent, feeling a bit deflated.
"It would look good, you all should try it." Kyra insisted, but the others remained unconvinced.
