Chapter 69 Their boss had really changed!
The next morning, Kyra and Lucas were packing their belongings. It wasn’t much. Lucas put a pouch with thousands of coins in the bag and clothes. They were preparing to leave when a sudden knock came at the door. Lucas went to answer it and found Vincent, Toma, Kyle, Lan, and Jimmy waiting outside.
Toma, immediately spotted Kyra and exclaimed excitedly, "My princess!" His eyes lit up with joy as he rushed towards her. Kyra smiled warmly and walked over to the excited little boy.
Toma wrapped his chubby arms around Kyra’s legs, looking up at her with adoration. "I’ll miss you so much!" he said, his voice trembling slightly.
Kyra’s heart melted at the sight of the affectionate child. She remembered the first time they met, when Toma had tried so hard to climb up just to catch a glimpse of her. Gently, she picked him up and pulled him into a tight hug. "I’ll miss you too, little one." she said softly, placing a tender kiss on his cheek.
Toma’s face flushed with a deep blush as he nuzzled Kyra’s neck. "I told my friends that you’re my future mate, but they want to be your mates too. I don’t want to share you with anyone!" he pouted, his chubby face mere inches from Kyra’s.
Kyra couldn’t help but chuckle at Toma’s possessive declaration. "Aww, you’re so cute, little guy." she said, playfully ruffling his hair. Toma beamed with pride and then leaned in, planting a loud, wet kiss on Kyra’s cheek.
The others watched the interaction with fond smiles on their faces. Suddenly, Vincent stepped forward and said Kyra’s name in a smooth, low voice, "Kyra, may I have a word with you?"
Lucas glared at Vincent, his protective instincts flaring up.
Jimmy and Lan moved closer to Lucas, while Kyle stood looked evrything with gossiping eyes.
