Chapter 55 - 55 Are you worried that I’ll steal your female?
Vincent's room was locked from the inside, and Lucas got more and more impatient waiting outside as he knocked. He couldn't help tapping his foot anxiously on the ground, eager for Vincent to answer the door.
Finally, the door swung open, revealing Vincent's somewhat disheveled appearance. Lucas looked at him sternly, a mix of frustration and disappointment on his face.
"You've kept me waiting for far too long," Lucas said with a touch of arrogance in his voice, his impatience evident.
Vincent's eyes dropped to the floor, a clear sign of remorse. He stammered, "I-I'm sorry, Alpha Lucas. Please forgive me for my mistake."
"No," Lucas replied firmly, stepping closer to Vincent. "What you've done is beyond forgiveness."
"Al-pha Lucas!" Vincent cried out, his voice filled with desperation. The sound echoed through the hallways, causing heads to turn and people to take notice of the commotion.
Suddenly, a cheerful voice broke through the tension. "Wow! Alpha Lucas, you are so handsome and cool!" It was Kyra, unable to contain her admiration. Her eyes turned heart as she watched Lucas.
Lucas glanced at Kyra, a small smile forming on his face. He blew her a playful kiss, and she caught it, placing it lovingly over her heart.
