"Zhongming, these are all formations set up by the Su Clan over there. Don’t damage them," White Robe said, squatting on the ground and speaking casually with Ye Zhongming.
This was a sign of their closeness—not losing their ease with each other despite what they had done for one another, yet ready to step forward and sacrifice themselves when needed.
"Have I ever messed up?" Ye Zhongming chuckled.
"Can we not brag?" White Robe shot him a look.
Ye Zhongming continued setting up the formation while explaining, "Su Clan formations have a hierarchy. As long as you don’t disrupt the formation’s lines and its core, you can layer them on top. However, when activating them, you can only activate one at a time. If you activate multiple simultaneously, only the highest-ranked formation will take effect."
He placed various materials down methodically. Anyone watching would have thought he was a Su Clan member.
