Chapter 2115: Twists and turns
"Sometimes it's hard to imagine that our Star-Eye Clan can actually stand on our own," White Robe said to Ye Zhongming beside him, looking at the rapidly passing scenery outside and listening to the continuous sounds of various energy attacks.
The Su Clan's landing plan was, in fact, nothing special. After the Su Clan warships escorted everyone through the atmosphere to the area above the Overlapping Water Dead Zone, they would immediately commence the landing operation.
The battle plan was simply that the Su Clan would be responsible for two directions, the Star-Eye Clan for one direction, and the other small clans of the Dark Strip City alliance for the final direction.
In terms of numbers, this allocation was reasonable. The Su Clan and the small clan alliance had roughly the same number of warriors, so each taking two directions was justifiable.
However, in terms of strength, the small clan alliance was clearly somewhat lacking; they were actually more suited to defending just one direction.
If it were another race, they would most likely do the same. After all, this was not the time to worry about casualties or preserving strength. If the landing was not successful, they would risk being surrounded and attacked by the planet's native lifeforms, leading to a failed landing.
If that happened, they would have no choice but to hover in the air and attempt a second landing, but it was easy to imagine how much more difficult that would be.
If consecutive landings failed, the only option would be to apply to reselect a camp location. But by then, the only choices would be barren lands, where even if there were gains, they would never be substantial.
It would likely not even cover the losses from the previous failed landing.
