Eerie silence descended on the room.
Kim Myeong-Chan didn’t continue and held his breath for a little while. His gaze was glued to every movement Kang Jin-Ho made and every twitch on Kang Jin-Ho’s expression.
Kang Jin-Ho slowly got up before staring at the Prime Minister in utter, complete silence. His expressionless face and withdrawn eyes made it impossible to guess what was on his mind right now.
Kim Myeong-Chan cautiously spoke up. “Assembly Master?”
“I think now is a good time to conclude today’s meeting.”
Lee Hyeon-Su got up to leave as well, prompting Kim Myeong-Chan to stop the two urgently.
“P-please wait! I know it’s not a pleasant thing to hear, but please be patient and listen to me till the end!”
However, Kim Myeong-Chan immediately flinched and clamped his mouth shut. That was because Kang Jin-Ho was staring right back with unclouded eyes.
There wasn’t any hint of hostility in those eyes, but Kim Myeong-Chan was no fool. He instantly understood the meaning behind that look.
“Although I have some things to say to you...” Kang Jin-Ho spoke flatly. “It’ll be better to continue another day.”
“But, Assembly Master...!”
