I Have A Sword

Chapter 1630: Kill Him

Since the beast had the upper hand in the first charge, it became more reckless.

With its powerful body and terrifying speed, it believed that its brute force could create miracles, and this mindset had never failed it before.

Just like that, the beast crashed fiercely into the tip of the Qingxuan Sword.

The moment it made contact with the sword, its eyes widened in shock. The next instant, its forehead split open and a jet of blood burst out. The sword pierced through it and exited through the back of its head.

It howled miserably as its body was torn in half. It was killed instantly!

The man behind the beast was terrified and retreated, but without the beast's support, his speed dropped drastically. Ye Guan closed the distance, and with a single slash, he chopped off the man's head.

Ye Guan stood at the center of the field and gazed at the falling beast in the distance, expressionless. Blood dripped slowly from the Qingxuan Sword in his hand, but he didn't leave, as he couldn't do so.

Ten thousand meters ahead stood an old man. He appeared at some unknown point in time. He wore a green long robe, and he looked dishevelled. He had messy hair and a filthy face, appearing extremely unkempt.

On his shoulder stood a strange-looking exotic bird that had three legs, two heads, and four eyes that were blood-red in color. The bird was staring intently at Ye Guan.

The old man's eyes fell on the Qingxuan Sword in Ye Guan's hand. He was well aware of how strong that beast's defenses, and yet, before this sword, it was as fragile as paper. He hadn't made a move, as he wasn't confident.

It was too risky. It would be safer to gang up on him.

They had to stall for time!
