Things had changed, and Claire directly brought Hawke to the producer's office.

Megan Taylor saw Hawke and, noticing he didn't have his notebook bag, was surprised. "You didn't come to deliver news, did you?"

Hawke approached her desk, saying, "I just went to the supermarket to pick up some stuff and thought I'd drop this off for you."

Megan was quite surprised, asking, "You wanted to give me a gift?"

Hawke pulled out some pepper spray and placed it on her desk. "Watch out for the that gang."

"Thanks," Megan replied, putting it away. "Make yourself comfortable."

As Hawke sat down, she asked, "Has that gang been bothering you again?"
