Chapter 188: The Finale
"Number four will be fighting against Jin Woo, but before that!!" TK paused suddenly, creating suspense amongst the crowd, then in a loud voice he announced:
"Our king, Lord Henry, has arrived to witness the final battle between the prodigies. Let’s welcome our lord."
The crowd screamed wildly, calling out to the king and showing their respect and love for him. How could the king make a simple entry when the people were so excited?
A very strong gust of wind swept through the entire colosseum, surprising the people. The clothes of all the people fluttered, and everyone shut their eyes for a moment.
Diana, being experienced in wearing veils, reacted fast as she covered her face and stopped the veil from flying away in time, but Vanessa and Fiona weren’t as fast—they were too surprised by the sudden wind to care about the veil.
But they quickly took out new veils and covered their faces.
Finally, from the sky, the king descended along with four guards standing and hovering behind him. He truly possessed a mighty aura that would make Aldric appear a joke.
From his appearance, he seemed to be in his thirties. His body was well-trained and had some nice muscles; all in all, he looked good.
The king and his guards landed on the high platform. He swept his gaze through the crowd with a huge smile on his face. After letting the crowd scream for a few seconds, he raised his hands to quieten everyone.
"I am very pleased that you are enjoying this event. It’s been many years since a competition of this level happened in our kingdom. And as your king, the head of the entire big family, I am—" Henry suddenly paused as his eyes got fixed on someone in the crowd.
The king seemed in a trance. He stared dazedly at the crowd with his mouth still open, the words he was about to speak frozen. After a moment, his eyes widened in surprise. He took a step forward but then came out of his stupor and composed himself.
Vritra followed the king’s gaze and frowned upon seeing that the king was looking at Vanessa out of all the people in the crowd. It didn’t seem to be some sort of coincidence.
