Chapter 8: Mutamorphis
Vritra bit harder, tearing the hard raw meat of the goblin into his mouth, and swallowed the demonic flesh, its blood spilling over his lips. He didn't care that it could kill him. He welcomed it.
The hunger and thirst forcing him to just swallow something, anything.
As the piece of the goblin meat was forced down his dry throat Vritra began to feel a burning pain in his throat and clearly felt how the piece moved painfully down to his belly.
The second goblin moved to strike, but Vritra twisted, barely managing to avoid the strike; as he slammed his fist into the wounded one's throat with haste, then drove the hammer straight through its jaw with a spine-snapping force.
Bones shattered. The first goblin collapsed as message after message began to pop but he had not time to read them under the pressure of the endless wave and the churning feeling in his belly.
several goblins instantly lunged at him, aiming to stab different parts of his body.
Vritra was in no state to fight, he picked up whatever weapons were lying on the ground and threw them at the approaching goblins with full strength, though the pain almost made him lose consciouness.
