Chapter 125: We Have To Leave
Julian’s eyes gleamed in understanding when he finally understood his father’s words. He was also thinking about all the benefits his family could gain from this. However, different from his father, he was planning to have an even ’closer’ relationship with Bella.
If he could somehow gain her favor, it would be like rising to the heavens in a single step. All those who had mocked him earlier, he would make pay.
He could still hear Wyatt’s taunting words in his ear when he came back from the Misty Mountains. That humiliation was not something he would forgive.
’Even that bitch Clara. Hehe, it would be fun to see her squirming under me.’ He chuckled to himself as his thoughts turned dark very quickly.
He left his father alone with more motivation than ever to complete this mission.
The next day, Adrian was out in the city shopping for some supplies. He was planning on refining some more pills with his new Moonjade cauldron. He had been excited to try it out ever since he had gotten it.
He had only been holding himself back because there had been more important things to do. Now that there was no more pressing issue, he was eager to start refining.
Jayson and Olivia needed more pills to support their cultivation journey. Over the past year, both kids’ realms had increased. Jayson, who was now thirteen years old, had risen from the Sixth level of the Qi condensation realm all the way to the Eighth level.
He had increased his realm twice in one year, which was very surprising. However, what was even more shocking was Olivia’s transformation. From a mortal who had no cultivation, she had become a cultivator at the Third level of the Qi condensation realm.
What did this mean? Adrian wondered about it when he found out. That meant she was a genius. One that could compare to him in terms of talent. In fact, if she continued with this pace, she could very well break his record of the fastest to break through to the Foundation Establishment realm in the House of Thorne.
Though her rapid increase in cultivation was largely due to her talent, there were also a few other factors that influenced it. For starters, the pills. Yes, those pills that Adrian had refined for her were indeed very helpful.
When he was younger, Adrian was not allowed to consume pills to help with his cultivation. His parents didn’t want him to take shortcuts and wanted him to work hard. They also didn’t want impurities to build up in his body.
