Chapter 76: Mystic realm
Now, Adrian had a choice. He could either enter the unknown formation that leads to who knows where, or he could turn around and leave now and try to make the perilous journey back by himself.
"Well, I’ve come this far. Why not?" Adrian mused to himself as he steeled his resolve. With light steps, Adrian walked forward and stood in the centre of the formation.
As soon as he reached the centre of the formation, the golden hue of the formation surrounding him intensified rapidly.
Without warning, Adrian’s vision became blurry as he felt his surroundings shift. The rapidly shifting surroundings became disorienting, and he had to close his eyes in order to avoid the dizziness.
Because he practiced the astral steps, Adrian became slightly familiar with the laws of space. So when he felt the space surrounding him become stable, he knew that the teleportation was over.
He opened his eyes and soon felt in awe at the breathtaking view.
When Adrian opened his eyes, he found himself standing on top of a cliff with a breathtaking view. From afar, he could see a palace located between two mountains, the view eerily similar to what was on the map.
’The map!’ As soon as his thoughts settled, he remembered the map that he had been holding before he entered the teleportation array.
He looked around frantically for it but couldn’t find it anywhere around him.
