Chapter 65: Taking Advantage
The woman didn’t even have the time to scream before her life was gone. It was a painful death. However, the beast didn’t stop.
With its hood through her body, it dragged her body around the rocky terrain until the woman’s upper torso was eventually separated from her body.
"Ahhh," yelled the captain as he lost his mind. Discarding his own safety, he charged straight for the boar.
He had lost all his teammates to this hateful boar, and he would take it down, even if it was the last thing he would do.
He met the boar head-on. He roared as his massive saber cleaved into the boar’s skull, splitting it partially.
The boar shrieked in pain as all the adrenaline from its berserk frenzy was already wearing off.
With one last desperate lunge, it impaled the captain. His eyes widened as he spat out a mouthful of blood before collapsing onto the ground.
His eyes were filled with despair and regret before they finally lost their light. He was dead. The boar had single-handedly dispatched a team filled with multiple Golden Core Formation realm experts.
As the wave of adrenaline wore off, a heavy sense of weakness overcame the boar. Its legs became weak as it collapsed onto the floor.
It wanted to take a brief respite when an unprecedented sense of danger rushed over its body.
It looked around but couldn’t spot anything. However, in the next moment, a blazing slash appeared right in front of it.
