Chapter 58: Vyre
Adrian concluded his preparations with the success of the Slumberseed potion. There wasn’t much else he could prepare now.
After informing the kids that he would be going out to the mountains to train again, he set off once again for the Misty Mountains. In order not to waste time, he joined a caravan that was already heading there.
When he reached the entrance of the mountain range, he was astounded to find the number of individuals camped outside. What used to be a small group of people casually relaxing outside and waiting for their teammates had now turned into a stream of stern faces as they prepared for the ensuing battle.
Multiple groups could be seen coming out of the fog with varying degrees of injuries.
Disciples of multiple sects could be seen entering in small groups. Various shouts could be heard as rogue cultivators, who usually preferred working alone, were forming groups in order to maximize their chances.
Adrian contemplated whether to join a group, but soon gave up after a brief thought.
First of all, most of the individuals here were at the Golden core formation realm, with only a scarce few at the formation establishment realm.
Qi condensation realm experts couldn’t even be found. This situation was too dangerous for them. No one would want him in their team as he wasn’t exactly what someone would call a powerhouse.
Moreover, he wanted to keep his interactions with people to a bare minimum. If he joined a group and his actual prowess was witnessed, they could start making weird assumptions.
