Chapter 54: GOODBYE
# TWO MONTHS LATER
Two months went by so fast. The summer was long gone and was replaced with autumn, the leaves on trees had changed their color and most of them has fallen off their trees. And it was now October.
Kakashi had went on some mission and gain some experience, each a step of understanding what it truly means to be a supernatural. And now, it was time her continued his journey.
"I'm sorry that I haven't been able to visit" Kakashi said as he held Megumin hand and rubbed it gently. "I might have gotten too busy and they won't even let me visit, but Mira said you've been doing well.
Kakashi looked out the window, even though they were on the third floor, it was quite a good view. Everything was peaceful and quiet, making him almost forget how they first met.
Kakashi just arrived at the lab and even though he has been trying to act tough the whole time, he was still scare. Megumin was the first person to approach him, and from that day, they had been very close friends.
"Sometimes... I just wish none of this have never happened. If I had stopped Tokah from going outside the barrier, maybe we would have never been attacked, my mother wouldn't have died, I wouldn't have been kidnapped and Kenji, Saito, and everyone one else would still be alive, maybe Tomura wouldn't have been possessed by a demon, the wind sage would be alive and nothing would happened to the flame sage." Kakashi paused. "But the more I think about it, the more I'm glad that everything happened the way it should. If I hadn't gone back to save my mother, I would have never been able to meet you all, so, I'm glad"
Kakashi removed his necklace and opened the locket, the last picture his took with his family was still in there, thankfully.
A knock on the door broke the silent before it opened.
"MEGUMIN!, I'M BACK!!!" Mira announced. "I got a lot to tell you.... Oh, Kakashi, you're also here"
Mira paused for a moment, then walked to the drawer beside the hospital bed and kept the snacks that she bought.
