It began when I encountered a marvelous substance known as the ’Gluttony Gene.’

It can bestow upon a suitable host the ability to absorb and strengthen itself by devouring its kin.

However, according to previous research records, the gene has high requirements for its host, and it’s difficult to find one in tens of thousands of people. Moreover, such experiments are too cruel.

I thought this gene was fascinating, but it would be too cruel to apply it to animals.

So, I wondered if this gene could be transplanted into plants.
