Inside a strange, dry, earth-yellow base, like a large pit that resembled a cage.
A girl, appearing no older than ten, held her breath with intense focus, facing an aggressive and fierce dog lunging at her. With precise timing, her foot shot out and kicked the beast’s mouth open. Taking advantage of the dog’s momentum, she rolled away to safety on the other side.
Again and again, she faced attempts at being brought down.
Until she was completely exhausted.
The armed soldiers above the pit glanced at the time before pulling triggers aimed at the vicious dogs.
