Chapter 26 - 20: The New Colleague, Explosion! (Two in One)
"Guys," Brian began, "this is the first meeting of our sixth reserve unit."
As soon as Team Leader Susan started the meeting, she immediately displayed a sharpness different from before: "My name is Susan. You can call me team leader, 'big sister,' or just by my name—that's all fine. Now, I need you all to introduce yourselves."
After finishing, she glanced at Brian.
Brian was no rookie to the workplace and caught on immediately, standing up to address everyone: "Hello, everyone. My name is Brian. I was formerly a forensic assistant at the Forensic Bureau, skilled in body examination and crime scene investigation. I should be able to offer some help in the upcoming assessments."
Clap clap clap~
Susan led the applause.
The other three clapped along.
The most enthusiastic among them was the strong man who had given Brian a bear hug before.
This guy, while clapping, turned towards Brian with a smile, looking very warm and approachable.
The second to introduce himself was the older black man among them.
He looked to be in his sixties, slightly shorter in stature, with a tattoo from the side of his ear to his neck—a portrait of a woman, likely someone important to the old man.
