Chapter 272: Aunt Helena...
Selene POV
When I walked into my bedroom, I saw Kragen waiting for me.
He was leaning against the wall, a quiet expression on his face. He was the person I wanted to see and at the same time, the last person I wanted to see too.
"Noah knew you were in my room last night!" I said quietly closing the door behind me "I think we need to stop whatever it is that we’re doing. I understand that we agreed to figure things out but we could meet in other places other than here. I wouldn’t want to fight with Noah over this."
"Werewolves!" he sighed under his breath pushing himself from the wall "You called for me Selene, maybe next time you have to be specific about where you want us to meet."
"I called you?" It was my turn to be shocked "But I did nothing of that? If anything, I was just here..." I trailed off. When Noah was talking to me before I must have thought about reaching him, but was that enough?
"Anyways!" I pushed the thoughts aside "I had a very strange vision today about my parents. This is the first time, I’ve seen them in a dream or a vision since they died and I was going to dismiss it but it had felt so real. All the emotions I experienced in the vision, I felt them in real life. I don’t know if it means anything though?"
"I’m not a big fan of visions, Selene," he said settling on the couch in the room. "Since the vision was not a warning, maybe you should just let it go. Visions are not exactly palatable. Most times they expose the truth we’re not ready to know. Since it was not a warning vision, I think you should forget about it."
"I just told you, that I saw my parents. They were so sad in the vision and my mother was pregnant with a baby in that vision too. If I don’t try to find out what it means, Kragen, I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself."
