Selene POV
"Yes!" he said softly "It’s me. Are you alright? You look like you’ve just seen a ghost."
I managed a smile, then reached out for his face, cupping it "I’m not alright, Lucius," I sighed then leaned back on the bench letting him go. "I just had the strangest of dreams or maybe visions... I don’t even know," I sighed.
"I’ve been trying to get your attention for a few minutes now," he said softly his hand resting on my shoulder. "You looked like you were somewhere far away."
He came to sit next to me and we sat with each other, embracing the silence, not saying a word. After a while, Lucius broke it.
"This vision, what was it about?" he asked.
"My parents!" the name brought tears to my eyes "You know, back when I lost them and couldn’t go to their funeral because I was weak, I used to wish every night before I went to bed that I would see them one last time. Most nights, I’ll go to bed thinking about them, hoping that their image would see them for the last time but guess what..." a sob tore from my throat "I just did, Lucius. They were right here in front of me but I didn’t understand what was going on. I couldn’t."
I rubbed my eyes, trying to shake off the lingering remnants of the vision.
"I saw something else," I murmured, "My mother was pregnant... my dad was standing next to her and they were talking to someone an older woman..."
