Tangled Hearts - The Alpha's Baby Mama

Chapter 266: Couldn’t wait for me...

Lucius POV

I stood alone in my dimly lit room, staring out of the large window that overlooked the silent woods in my room at Moon Whisper. I’ll be going back to Greyhound tomorrow but I couldn’t help but feel something was strange in Selene’s story.

At least the little bit she had told us. Nothing made sense and I was surprised that Kragen didn’t stop by. That was so unlike him. Something didn’t add up... aside from what Kurtis had told me the other day, I felt there was more and Selene was hiding it.

The night sky was heavy with clouds, shrouding the moon and casting a deep, oppressive darkness over the land. It was like the turmoil inside me, a storm of thoughts and emotions that I’d been trying to quell for a few days now. My wolf stirred inside me, calling for my mates – Mate.

I shook my head with annoyance, I had just one mate and it was Emilia and no none else. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn’t hear the door creak open behind me, until Emilia’s scent filled my nostrils, causing my wolf to jump up happily. I didn’t turn, I was too ashamed to.

After that night, I hated myself for the way I had spoken to her and to Kurtis and I was too ashamed to face them. I heard her tiptoe to where I was standing. I had spent too many nights yearning for her and also for the fulfillment that came when three of us where together.

When she neared me, without hesitation, she wrapped her arms around my waist from behind, her touch soft yet urgent.

I sighed softly "What do you want?"

"Lucius," she whispered, her voice tinged with longing as she pressed herself against my back. Her breath was warm against my ear, making my insides coil with pleasure. She ran her hands all over my body, biting down gently on my shoulder, her teeth grazing my skin in a way that sent a shiver down my spine. "I’ve missed you so much, darling,".

I stiffened at first, my initial instinct was to pull away. I knew I should be doing this, not after openly telling them I reject them, not when my mind was already conflicted. But the feel of her – the scent of her hair, the softness of her lips against my neck p- stirred something deep within me. I closed my eyes, trying to resist, but she nibbled on my skin again.

This time, she ran her tongue on my neck, kissing, biting and blowing. Then her hands hovered on my waist, with the other hand tracing my hard nipple peeking out of my shirt. I couldn’t resist her when she knew all of the places on my body that excited me. Her apologies finally spilled from her lips like a prayer, wrapping around me in a way that felt both comforting and suffocating.
