The room spun for a few minutes as I dug my hands into Noah’s arms until my knuckles turned white.
Nora was dressed in a red leather dress that accentuated all the curves on her body matching perfectly with the dark lipstick she had on. Her face was bare except for the lipstick on her lips and her lips curved into a smile that reached her lips as she reached us.
"Father!" Noah broke the tension and snapped me back to reality "What is the meaning of this? What is Noah doing here and Brooke?"
"Here is not the best time to talk, Noah," The Grand Lycan said without any emotion on his face "I’ll explain everything to you later...".
"I will not wait a moment more for your explanation Father. If you cannot give me what I want, you might as well leave the party with them. You cannot show up here with people who are supposed to be facing the consequences of their actions. Nora is supposed to be in jail and Brooke was banished,".
"They got the Grand Lycan pardon," The Grand Lycan said finally, a soft sigh escaping his lips "Nora’s husband won’t let me be, besides she’s been ill for a while now and her doctor recommended that she is released. "The central elections are around the corner, if the people know that you put your sister in jail, it’ll raise a lot of eyebrows and make these Lycans sceptical about taking your side. In this part of the world and for the Leader of the Central Elections, people will align more with you when they know you can keep them safe,".
