"I’m sorry, Selene," he sighed "But I didn’t do any of these things on purpose. I would never leave you by yourself, it’s just that something happened and it delayed me but I came right when you needed me right? Doesn’t that count for something?" he winked at me bathing his eyelid coquettishly.
"Still..." I feigned annoyance "You really must do better next time, I thought the worst of you, Kragen and you honestly, I was going to put you in the same category with my ex.... You’re lucky,".
"I can’t believe he let another thing happen to the girls again, that was how he...". Kragen trailed off, holding his forehead with the palm of his hands. "Shit," he murmured under his breath.
