Noah POV
"Oh, goddess!" Nora rushed to where Xavier was and squashed him in a hug causing him to groan out in pain.
"Mom, it’s painful!" he cried.
Immediately, Nora let him go "I’m so sorry baby. I was just so happy to see you. Are you alright? How did you come to?" her eyes flitted to Lucius who had been hovering behind Xavier silently "What happened to him Lucius? I just left there and the doctor clearly said it’ll take only an intervention from Selene,".
"Well Selene isn’t responsible for this," Lucius shrugged not before I saw him throw me a glare "He sneezed a few minutes earlier and came back to consciousness. He’s still weak though and would need Selene’s intervention else he’d remain like this but thankfully, this would be easy,".
"There’s nothing easy about giving my wife to another man, Lucius," I scoffed "Why are you making it sound so easy,".
"Your majesty!" he said coldly as he turned his gaze to me "All Selene needs to do is to lie down beside him overnight and he’ll be fine. There’ll be no intimacy shared as feared before I can assure you that and Alpha Xavier is principled so you don’t have to worry about anything,".
"That’s a relief!" Nora sighed and turned to me "This is easy right? Please approve it Noah, I beg you in the name of the moon. Please!"
Xavier too was wobbling where he stood. I could feel he was in pain. Every part of his body oozed of blood and I know for a fact that this would be a temporary recovery if nothing is done for him. In worst-case scenarios, he may slip into a situation worse than the first one he was in.
