"Married to Noah?" I narrowed by eyes at Xavier. "What do you mean? What secrets is Noah keeping from me?"
Xavier sighed heavily, as his hand ran the expanse of my shoulders "The Lycan King of the West recently opened their borders after so many years of living and trading by themselves and the first pack he met up with to do business was Noah... Moon Whisper Pack and since then, their business relationship has flourished,".
"Cut to the chase, Xavier," I groaned "You know I am not a patient person,">
"Well, I am guessing that the King Tanner, that’s the king from the west proposed that Noah should marry his daughter Princess Jade because I see no reason why she’d be sent here without the unusual formalities that they’re accustomed too. Besides, a month ago, your husband reached out to me seeking an alliance between our packs,".
"Wait!" I could feel my heart pounding with fear. I didn’t know if it was the scare that came from finding out that Noah could possibly be hiding something as massive as this from me and it pissed the hell out of me or the fact that I was truly scared about losing my marriage.
"If I get you correctly, King Tanner reached out to Noah and asked that he marries his daughter, then Noah reached out to you in return to ask for partnership. I don’t understand, was he going to accept the proposal? Is it what it means?
"No!" Xavier sighed "I think he was looking for a way to reject the proposal and cut off ties with the king of the West. In case you don’t know, we recently discovered a tone of mineral and natural resources in Moon Whisper and to say the truth, I think I understand why there’s been a lot of eyes on our pack. So, I think he asked for alliance so he can get what he gets from the King of the West through me,".
