Chapter 72: Hello girls! missed me?
Selene POV
I dug my heel in the ground, refusing to move an inch.
"What about?" I asked him calmly. Even though I was quaking like a leaf within. I could tell he was angry and an angry Lycan wasn’t always a good thing. This would also be the first time he has been angry at me.
"Don’t make me repeat myself," he snarled as he rose to his feet and in a loud voice commanded me again "Come here!"
Bracing myself for the worst, I crossed the room to where he was. As soon as I reached him, he grabbed me and threw me on the bed. And in one swift motion, he tore my clothes from my body as he settled himself beside me. I gritted my teeth, forcing back the tears that pooled in my eyes... I couldn’t fight him.
"It has gotten to this, Noah?" a small smile played on my lips.
He pinned to the bed as he hovered over me, his eyes were cold... cold with disdain. It wasn’t his wolf working because he was very much normal. Suddenly, he lets go of me and goes to sit at the edge of the bed. After a while, he rose to his feet and went in the direction of the closet.
He returned a few minutes later and threw a gown at me "Put that on and meet me outside the pack house in the garden,".
With that he turned on his heels and left the room. Visibly shaken by what had just played out, I manage to rise from the bed and hurriedly wore the dress he had given me. I tied my hair into a bun and looked around for anything I could use as a weapon if he tries to attack me.
My eyes landed on a small tabletop knife and I grabbed it and tucked it inside my boot before leaving the room. When I got to the garden, he was sitting quietly under the persimmon tree, his eyes were closed and his body limp as if he was meditating.
"Sit!" he commanded tapping at the empty space beside him on the garden bench.
