Chapter 63: It still feels like a dream that you’re my wife.
Selene POV
I paused the movement on the brush that was brushing my hair as I stared at him through the mirror on the vanity table taking in his earnest expression. The thing I am avoiding would happen one day eventually and if I kept denying him what he truly wants... I am not sure how long he would hold on without running out of patience.
So, I set down the brush and turned to him with a bright smile... it was just bathing...
"Sure," I nodded.
I could see the relief in his eyes as he drew close and asked me if I needed help with my clothes to which I nodded yes and stayed still as he worked around the heavy layers of the bridal gown I had on.
When he was done, I stood in my birth suit before watching as his eyes roamed around my body with desire.
"I prepared a bath for us, we better go before it gets too cold,".
"Okay dear," I smiled at him as he reached for my hand and both of us walked towards the bathroom.
As soon as we got in, he shrugged out of his bathrobe as he slipped into the bathtub extending a hand for me to join him which I did gracefully. Now settled in between his legs, my back pressing against the hardness of his chest and his manliness poking at my back, I sighed and threw my head backwards closing my eyes.
"Today was an insane day," I exhaled after a while, beginning to feel relaxed already "A lot of things happened but it ended up in a good way,".
"Yeah," he agreed huskily "It still feels like a dream that you’re my wife. Never in a million years did I envision this moment. I was hopeful that I could date you at least once or twice... I didn’t dare think of more,".
