A Nascent Kaleidoscope

Chapter 715: Chapter 632

We stepped out onto a patch of grass, and the fresh air immediately hit us.

There was a pleasant gust while the sun shone down above us.

It was neither too hot nor too cold.

Honestly, it was like the picture perfect type of afternoon.

"It's quite beautiful." Artoria commented, looking around. "And it smells nostalgic. The lack of modern invention reminds me of some places back home where the air tasted sweet."

"No pollution?" I asked.

She shook her head. "More than that. Something simply missing in the modern era that is hard to explain."

She flatted out her skirt before squatting down and running a hand through the grass.

Other than the concerns I had about this place, the fake sky, and the weird presence I felt on the wind, I couldn't argue with her take on it.
